  ANECDOTES FROM PAUL
Dropout was recorded after Tom Lynn came forward to help with the production costs. We had toured together in Europe (that whacky 42nd street tour where everyone read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas in the first week). He introduced me to Sammy and we immediately hit it off.

We actually recorded basics for Dropout and the original DROP on a summer weekend... never had the means to finish DROP but it's still on the shelf ready to go. We camped out at the Trees for a few dys and recorded around the clock. Amazing party!

Next we headed back to NYC for overdubs at Uptime Studios where Paul ended up working as an engineer. This record was recorded right at the point where Pro Tools was taking over... so basics were analog transfered to ADAT with a little help from Pro Tools... mostly mixed on 5 synced ADATs through a Soundtrax digital board..
